A section of the Inner Reef known as the Keyhole Lagoon is a popular snorkelling destination for novice snorkelers at Hanauma Bay.  Shaped like a giant keyhole, the sandy bottom lagoon is shallow.  The richest sea life can be found near the coral at the parameter of the keyhole.
