The Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve encompasses a diverse and delicate ecosystem. It's stunning scenery and marine life attracts some 3,000 people daily. To mitigate the impact of tourism on the environment, all visitors are required to watch a 7 minute film about the nature park and participate in a brief introduction at the Educational Center that overlooks Hanauma Bay. Further information about the marine life and geology of the bay is available at a kiosk on the beach.
